Everybody Eats is a not for profit, pay as you feel, dining concept. They take perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste and turn it into restaurant quality meals.
Their customers can pay whatever they like, even nothing. The majority of their guests are homeless or suffer food poverty. They are served with dignity and respect by volunteers at share tables. The Bureau team has washed dishes , set and cleared tables , waited on customers.
Some of the team completed the 12km Auckland Traverse supporting the Lung Cancer Foundation on behalf of the, now late, Baden Ng Kee.
Every week Jude buys her lunch from Eat My Lunch. Every lunch she buys means Eat My Lunch can give lunch to a kiwi kid who would otherwise go without.
