Hello, I’m Chris, originally from Birmingham, England (promise the accent’s worn off!), and I’ve proudly called New Zealand home for the past decade. Since shifting into recruitment in 2017, I’ve dedicated myself to the built environment and engineering consulting sectors. My role involves matching talented professionals with their ideal positions, serving a wide array of organisations from large & SME multi-disciplinary firms to boutique consultancies.
I specialise in civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, as well as management and leadership roles within these fields. My goal is to connect individuals with roles where they can excel and help companies find the right talent to grow. Building strong relationships with both clients and candidates is central to my approach, and Bureau is the perfect place to enable me to do that.
Beyond my professional life, I have a passion for exploring diverse cultures and environments, and I’m always seeking my next travel adventure (whether that’s via plane, or in a camper). I’m a devoted Aston Villa fan, an enthusiastic cook, and I love playing frisbee with my dog, Toby.
